BHF (The Pump House Gang): the Early Years

Activist historians Charles McCollester and Steffi Domike and videographer Jim Hohman will relate the colorful origins of the Battle of Homestead Foundation during the steel industry’s abandonment of local manufacturing in the late 1980’s. Revisit several decades of the Pump House Gang’s resistance to deindustrialization and struggle to preserve significant cultural artifacts and to reclaim workers’ role in history. Come and bring your prized artifact from the  ongoing fight to support union manufacturing jobs.
