The Battle of Homestead Foundation, All-Kiski Historical Society, United Mine Workers of America and the United Steelworkers sponsored the “Fannie Sellins Memorial Commemoration” on August 26, 2019. This all day event commemorated the 100th anniversary of Fannie and Joe’s death. It took place in three locations: Natrona Heights, PA where Fannie Sellins and Joe Strazeleski were murdered, the USW Local 1196 Union Hall in Brackenridge, PA and the Arnold Cemetery in Arnold, PA where Fannie and Joe are buried.
