On August 26, 2019, The Battle of Homestead Foundation labor supporters gathered in Natrona Heights, Brackenridge and Arnold Cemetery, Pennsylvania, to remember the one hundred year anniversary of the death of labor activists, Fannie Sellins and Joe Strazeleski, who were brutally murdered by the Coal and Iron Police. They were murdered in cold blood as they defended the rights of laborers, immigrants and the rights for social justice and a just wage for their labors. Their lives were commemorated in the day long event, now captured on video, with speeches by labor organizers and members of the United Steelworkers and United Mine Workers of America unions.
