OUR FEATURED SPEAKER is Michael Lewis, an investigative journalist and best-selling author whose books include The Big Short, Boomerang, The Blind Side, Moneyball, Liar’s Poker and Flash Boys.

Topic: “Government Workers and Public Service:  Keeping America’s Democracy Running Smooth”

Mr. Lewis’ 2018 book The Fifth Risk and a recent Washington Post feature article examined contributions of America’s federal workforce and the current threats to it. 

Mr. Lewis will share his thoughts on the important role the nation’s 2 million federal employees play in helping government operate and provide vital services across the country every day.
