Mark Rylance, academy award actor and Peter Reder, writer, came to Pittsburgh to honor the brave men and women who fought and died in the Battle of Homestead in 1892. Mark Rylance participated in the many activities that commemorated the 125th anniversary of the historic Battle of Homestead.. This speech was delivered during the Meet and Greet event where the Battle of Homestead members met with Mark Rylance and his writer, Peter Reder.
